Our clinical and support staff will work with you to maintain your health in a professional and caring environment. Our philosophy is that we want to be an advocate for you and assist you in leading a happy, healthy life.
Our History
Wilson Family Medicine was founded September 30, 2002 in Tallahassee, Florida by Dr. Les Wilson and Dr. Vicki Erwin-Wilson. Drs. Les and Vicki started their careers in 1991 with North Florida Medical Centers, a private not-for-profit community health center in the panhandle of Florida. They provided health care to medically under-served communities of Carrabelle, Wewahitchka, and Bristol. Drs. Wilson opened a practice in Bristol that they ran for 3 ½ years before moving to Tallahassee. In 1996, both Dr. Les and Dr. Vicki accepted an employed position with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. They continued to work for TMH before deciding to go into private practice in 2002. The doctors enjoy being in private practice because it gives them the flexibility with their schedule while at the same time gaining valuable insight into running a business. Drs. Wilson have also been on affiliate faculty at the family practice residency program, Florida State University College of Medicine, Florida State University nurse practitioner school, and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
